Ming-Jung Ho is Associate Director, Center for Innovation and Leadership in Education (CENTILE) at
Georgetown University Medical Center and Director of Education Research at MedStar Health. Dr. Ho is
also a Professor in the Department of Family Medicine. Dr. Ho received an undergraduate degree in
Biological Anthropology at Harvard University, a medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania, and a
doctorate in Social Anthropology at University of Oxford in the UK. Dr. Ho worked in Taiwan, Kuwait and
Qatar before moving to the USA. Dr. Ho’s research on cross-cultural professionalism has enhanced our
understanding of how sociocultural factors shape professionalism.
