The facilitators will work with delegates through an interactive assessment design session to understand, select and justify the most appropriate and reliable tools to design and deliver an assessment framework for their programmes. The session will highlight and summarise the strengths and weaknesses of such approaches and share experience of their implementation. Opportunities will be provided for colleagues to present their own experiences and views in an informal environment where the key goal will be to understand assessment methodology with a practitioner focus. Therefore, participants will be encouraged to reflect on their own programmes and discuss collaboratively with their colleagues the selection of assessment methods in the context of their own curriculum.
