The workshop will be conducted using the TBL format. Participants will be provided an advance assignment prior to the conference. The workshop will clarify and articulate the types of articles carried by the Medical Science Educator (MSE) Journal and the roles and responsibilities of the reviewer.

At the end of this workshop, the participants will be able to:

1. List the eight step review process
2. Describe the purpose of the Editorial manager system for submission of reviews.
3. Describe the value and responsibilities of the peer review process.
4. Describe the five main types of articles accepted in the journal.
5. Critique reviews for  quality and constructive input
6. Identify barriers to publications
