Rebecca is an academic rheumatologist at University of Otago Wellington, currently in role of
Associate Dean Medical Education. Rebecca is passionate about delivering patient-centered
care and medical education at all levels; undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing
professional development. She combines clinical practice at Hutt Hospital with her academic
role. Her teaching is in the Otago Medical School medical degree and includes rheumatology
and Chemical Pathology. She has active research interests in rheumatology and medical
education including student engagement, technology in education and health system
improvement and curriculum development.
