Dr. Kelly Quesnelle is Professor and Chair of the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville. Dr. Quesnelle is a pharmacology educator with hundreds of hours of classroom instruction and experience with many diverse active learning pedagogies. Dr. Quesnelle is an active participant in all phases of curricular administration, from design and implementation to evaluation. Her current research interests center around the identity, formation, and development of basic science educators.
Dr. Quesnelle is a currently the Chair of the IAMSE Educational Scholarship Committee, where she is heavily involved in the IAMSE Medical Educator Fellowship. She is a past Chair of the IAMSE Publications Committee, and a past recipient of the IAMSE Early Career Award for Excellence in Teaching and Innovation. She currently serves as an appointed representative to the American Association of Medical Colleges Council for Faculty and Academic Societies.
