Dr. Sol Robert-Lieb is the Senior Director for Faculty Development at the Carle Illinois College of Medicine. He is a proponent of alternative faculty development, connecting activities directly to the work of teaching and learning. He has created programs to build culture, engagement, and a sense of belonging in the organization. Dr. Roberts-Lieb’s research interests are varied and include micro-scholarship, elective creation as faculty development, and individualized faculty development programs based on groups and needs. Dr. Roberts-Lieb enjoys engaging students in faculty development projects, training people on how to engage students where they are, and help both faculty and staff find their niche in the college. Outside of academia, Dr. Roberts-Lieb, enjoys 3d Printing, Science Fiction, and playing video games.
