Cheryl L. Holder, M.D. is an Associate Professor in Department of Humanities, Health and Society and Associate Dean of Diversity, Equity, Inclusivity and Community Initiatives at Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine in Miami, FL. She developed STEM Saturday, which pairs undergraduate premedical student organizations and medical students with community partners in twelve underserved communities. The student teams provide once monthly hands-on science experiments to children ages 5-15 and mentorship to premedical students on MCAT exam and medical school application process.
