Cheryl Dickson MD, MPH is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine and serves as the Associate Dean for Health Equity and Community Affairs at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine (WMed) in Kalamazoo, MI. She is the course director for the longitudinal service-learning course Active-Citizenship and the component lead for cultural humility and social determinants of health for the Profession of Medicine course for medical students. She has developed several pathway programs for under-represented and underserved students to encourage interest in STEM and Health Careers including elementary , junior-high, high-school and undergraduate students.
