Jenny Fortun, Ph.D., has been involved in curriculum design and implementation, as well as the teaching of various foundational sciences including biochemistry, physiology, immunology, and neuroscience. She serves as Assistant Dean for Foundational Sciences Curriculum and Associate Professor of Medical Education,. She is interested in the development of teaching strategies that promote critical thinking skills and highlight the importance of foundational sciences for clinical reasoning. In parallel, she is involved in the development of assessment methods to evaluate the application of foundational knowledge to diagnostic reasoning and the interpretation of clinical information.
