This workshop equips higher education faculty and instructors to thoughtfully integrate generative artificial intelligence (AI) into their courses. Participants will work through planning to incorporate AI in their courses, focusing on assessing risks, evaluating tools, aligning assignments with learning objectives, and boosting AI literacy for educators and students. A key component of the workshop involves instructors developing a draft AI-enhanced assignment for their courses, leveraging the Transparency in Learning and Teaching (TILT) framework. This interactive and hands-on experience empowers educators to make informed and responsible decisions about including generative AI in their higher education courses.
