Lisa Elferink PhD, serves as an Assistant Dean and Professor in the Department of Neurobiology at the University of Texas Medical Branch where she collaborates with clinical and foundational science faculty to shape and implement the school's preclinical MD curriculum. Her educational interests include curriculum development and assessment. Her commitment to education and research has been recognized by several awards and appointments, including a UT Distinguished Teaching Professor, a member of the Academy of Master Teachers and UT Shine Academy of Health Science Education.
