Diego F. Niño, MD, PhD is an Associate Professor of Physiology in the Department of Medical Education at The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine. He is deeply committed to innovative pedagogy and is a faculty member of the prestigious Harvard Macy Institute Transforming Your Teaching using Technology Course. Dr. Niño is also a founding member of the AI subcommittee of the IAMSE Professional Development Committee. His research and teaching interests lie in developing and implementing cutting-edge technology-enhanced learning experiences within the medical curriculum. He actively promotes active learning strategies, designs interactive tools to enhance student engagement, and advocates for the integration of educational technology and artificial intelligence to optimize medical education.
