Stefanie M. Attardi, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Foundational Medical Studies at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. She teaches histology and gross anatomy to medical students. She is a medical education researcher, with a focus on online education and curriculum integration involving the anatomical sciences. She evaluates educational innovations in these areas through a broad range of research approaches (qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods). She has published qualitative research articles in Anatomical Sciences Education, Active Learning in Higher Education, and Advances in Physiology Education. She has also shared her qualitative research with professional societies at the national and international levels through numerous oral and poster presentations
