Learners require both supportive methods to enable their highest possible level of learning as well as clear standards that they must attain. For learners who struggle, these requirements necessitate that educators who conduct remediation motivate their learners through highly effective and humanistic feedback. By the end of this session, participants will be able to name elements of the "mentor mindset" and brainstorm practical interventions to their courses that will both support learners and uphold high standards.
