Dr. Sepideh Banava, Assistant Professor at the UCSF School of Dentistry and the Deputy Director of the Dental Public Health Residency Program, is the Science Coordinator of the Research Coordinating Center for the Health Equity Action Network. With nearly 30 years of experience as a dentist-researcher, Dr. Banava has collaborated with research teams and conducted research studies focusing on dental caries prevention and conservative treatments, oral health disparities, oral health literacy, dental public health workforce, and data science.
