As assistant professor I teach and coordinate courses on interdisciplinary methods and supervise interdisciplinary theses in the core curriculum of the interdisciplinary bachelor program Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) and in the interdisciplinary minor ‘Brains and Bodies’ at Utrecht University, the Netherlands. Furthermore, I conduct research on inter- and transdisciplinary research and education. I'm particularly interested in integration and interactions in complex, large collaborative consortia, science policy at universities and funding agencies, and (support for) the development of inter- en transdisciplinary competencies such as identity, self reflection, teamwork, and integration among students and early career researchers.
