Yvonne Pelling is the Patient and Community Engagement Lead at PASSERELLE, Canada’s national hub for training and capacity-building in patient-oriented research. She holds an MEd in Interdisciplinary Education with a focus on co-design and educational design, guiding her commitment to participatory, relational approaches in research and learning. Drawing on her experience as a patient partner, Yvonne’s work centres around how to develop environments where teams can challenge assumptions, integrate patient lived experience and navigate complexity. By intentionally linking collaboration and learning, she supports teams in embracing diverse perspectives and generating innovative insights together.
