Question: How do I obtain the pre-readings?
Answer: Pre-readings will be sent to you at least 6 week prior to the start of the meeting
Question: What is the room rate?
Answer: The room rate is $189.00 USD per night during the 2020 TBLC Conference.
Question: Why am I not getting the correct rate when registering?
Answer: Your membership may be listed under a different email address than the one you are trying to use to register. Check and make sure that you are using the same email address for both. If you continue to receive the wrong rate, feel free to contact us at for assistance.
Question: Are meals included with my registration fee?
Answer: Yes, meals are included with your registration fee. Lunches on Saturday and Sunday are for workshop attendees only and are available for purchase at additional cost.
Question: Why do I have to pre-register for sessions?
Answer: We ask that you pre-register for sessions to allow presenters to have an accurate headcount for their sessions. Many presenters tailor their sessions for the amount of registered attendees. It also ensures that they will have sufficient materials. 
Question: Can I switch sessions after I’ve registered?
Answer: Yes, you can switch sessions after you have registered. To modify your registration please click the "Already Registered?" button at the bottom of this page to log back into the conference website. 
Question: I can only attend part of the conference – do I still have to pay for the whole conference?
Answer: Yes, you must pay the full registration fee even if you only intend to stay part of the day.
Question: Can my guest attend sessions?
Answer:  No. The guest fee only covers the cost of meals and attendance at the plenary sessions. If your guest wishes to attend other sessions, they must pay the full registration rate.
Question: What’s the cancellation policy?
Answer: Your registration fee, less a $100 US administrative fee, will be refunded when the TBLC Office receives written notification before January 15, 2020. Substitutions can be made. Refunds will be made on a case-by-case basis after January 15, 2020. No refunds will be made after February 1, 2020.
Question:  Will a laptop be provided?
Answer: Laptop computers will not be provided for workshop presenters.
Question: Do we need to bring our own Mac Book converter?
Answer: Yes, please bring any converters for your laptop you may have. Our projectors work with VGA and HDMI cables.
Question: Will WiFi be available?
Answer: No, we will not be providing WiFi.

Question: How do I register as a student?
Answer: If you are a student registering for the TBLC Meeting and would like the discounted student rate, please email a letter from your dean or department chair on university letterhead stating that you are a student to Once we've received the letter, we will provide you with a discount code for the student registration rate.
Question: How do I receive my Fundamentals certificate?
Answer: The certificates for attending all five fundamentals workshops will be sent to you after the conclusion of the meeting. If you registered for the full 5 workshops + conference registration, you will receive your certificate via email within 1 month of the conclusion of the annual meeting. If you did not register for all 5 workshops at this meeting, you will need to complete the application found here: and pay the $25 certificate fee. Substitution Policy:
Substitution of registrations is permitted prior to the conference and onsite. Only one substitution is permitted per original registrant.
