Mark A. Serva. Mark is an associate professor of management information systems at The University of Delaware. He became a TBL trainer-consultant in 2018. He has published research in Decision Sciences, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Communications of the Association for Information Systems, and many other journals. He is the former Director for UD's Institute for Transforming Undergraduate Education (ITUE) and currently serves on the leadership board for PANPBL, a leading international organization that advocates for the use of active learning pedagogies. He is the recipient of a number of many teaching awards, and is an active consultant in the improvement of student learning, TBL and PBL, and alternative approaches for assessment.
