Andrea Bowersox is a Curriculum and Trainer Development Supervisor with the Pennsylvania Child Welfare Resource Center (PACWRC) through the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Social Work. Her background is in education and has a Masters in Public Policy and Management. Throughout her career at the PACWRC she has had the opportunity to develop and supervise the development of TBL™ courses for child welfare professionals across the state of Pennsylvania and support instructors in using this delivery method. These trainings are available to several hundred workers each year. Through the redesign of the new caseworker and supervisor training series to be delivered through TBL™, child welfare professionals have the opportunity to apply course concepts through realistic scenarios related to practice prior to experiences in the field.
