Bio
Dr. Cook received her PhD from Cornelle University in Adult and Continuing Education. Her Master's is in Research Methdology and Bachelor's in Experimental Psychology, both from Ohio State University. She was the Associate Dean for Curricular Affairs, at the University of Chicago from 2002-2006. Dr. Cook joined Duke-NUS Medical School, Singapore in 2006 as Associate Dean for Education where she facilitated the development of TeamLEAD, the local adaptation of Team-based Learning as the primary instructional strategy for the basic science year. She retired in 2022 and returned to the Chicago suburbs. She is currently the chair of the Training and Certification Committee and the Asia Pacific Community within the Team-Based Learning Collaborative. She is also one of the Associate Editor for the Medical Science Educator Journal of the International Association of Medical Science Education.
