This workshop will explore TBL in schools (4-18 years). With the aim of fostering optimal learning and neuro-inclusion, it will consider different approaches to adapting TBL to enhance belonging, curiosity and collaborative sense making. How does this affect the TBL framework and are any of the approaches transferable to other phases of education or sectors?
Facilitators will model some of the strategies and different approaches that can be made for neuro-inclusion when using TBL with school learners. Participants will be immersed in a TBL experience that uses approaches to enhance belonging, curiosity and collaborative sense-making. There will be an adapted RAP, team formation and two application exercises to help attendees identify and apprise potential neuro-inclusive methods for learners of all ages.
