Patricia Beyers Pelzel is an Instructional Designer III at the University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine, where she supports faculty in implementing a fully Team-Based Learning curriculum. She is a coauthor of the forthcoming second edition of Team-Based Learning: A Transformative Use of Small Groups in Teaching.

Patricia is an instructional designer and educator focused on creating student-centered, active learning experiences. She earned a Master of Arts in Instructional Design from Alverno College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and holds certifications in early childhood and special education. Over the past 12 years, she has worked in higher education as both a faculty member and instructional designer, partnering with instructors to design, implement, and refine evidence-based teaching practices.
