Amy Beresheim received her PhD in Evolutionary Anthropology at the University of Toronto. She joined the Rush University Faculty as an Assistant Professor in August 2020, after first serving as the Anatomy Laboratory Specialist at Des Moines University. At Rush, she teaches gross anatomy to medical, nursing, and allied health students. Her research utilizes a histological approach to examine life history and skeletal health in past human populations. She is a member of the American Association for Anatomy, the American Association of Biological Anthropologists, and the Canadian Association for Physical Anthropology.
