James R. Witte is an instructor of Land Surveying at Glenville State College (GSC) where he has been employed full-time for ten years, and as adjunct faculty for eight years previously. Before entering higher education he worked for several surveying and engineering companies in the state of West Virginia, in most aspects of surveying. He is a Past President of the WVSPS and has represented GSC and WVSPS at many conferences and conventions. He resides with his wife, Alison, on a farm on Sinking Creek, near Glenville, West Virginia.
