Seminar: Terrestrial and Topo Bathymetric LiDAR (2 PDH)
Description
Light Detection and Ranging, the term “LiDAR” was created to sound similar to radar and sonar which are also types of remote sensing technology. LiDAR uses a laser to scan the earth’s surface and Topo Bathy LiDAR uses a different laser type to penetrate water. Lonnie Upton will discuss how we acquire this data and the use cases associated with it.
