If you have sent in your dues and still do not see the "member" registration type, please fill out the form below. If the form does not appear below, you may access it by clicking here. If all else fails, feel free to reach out to us at wvsps@wvsps.org.

You can see what sessions you signed up for by visiting My Agenda, linked here. You will be required to log in to view your sessions. If you want to change the sessions you are signed up for, you may modify your registration by clicking here

Seminar selection is requested at the time of registration. All classes will be limited based on the size of the rooms they will be taking place in, so if you see a seminar you want to attend, be sure to sign up for it! Spots in each seminar are on a first-come-first-served basis. If you are unsure of which seminars you would like to take at the time of registration, we recommend going back and modifying your registration before March 1 to add your seminars.

You can request an invoice completing your registration and clicking the "invoice" button on the final page. You may also click the "View Invoice" button. You will be required to login to your registration. As always, you can always request one directly from the WVSPS Admin office by emailing wvsps@wvsps.org.

Yes, once you have registered, you are able to switch sessions unless the session has reached full capacity. You may do so by clicking here

You may also switch seminars while you are at the Convention. Just make sure to stop by the registration desk to ask how full the seminar is. Please be courteous to those that pre-registered and wait until the seminar has begun before taking a vacant seat.

Only members of the WVSPS will receive the member rate. We would love for you to join the Society during your registration!

Attending the Convention

In each registration packet for the WVSPS 2026 Convention, attendees will receive a PDH sheet that lists all sessions that are worth PDH credit. Each session will have a proctor who has a stamp bearing the endorsed seal of the WVSPS. They will be monitoring the seminars and if you were present for 50 minutes of instruction, they will stamp your PDH sheet at the conclusion of the seminar.

It is important to note that the WVSPS is not responsible for keeping PDH records.

If you send a scanned version of your PDH record to wvsps@wvsps.org, our admin team will keep that scan on file. However, keeping those records is ultimately up to each surveyor.

Guests may not attend seminars and are not eligible for any PDH credits.

There is no virtual component to the 2026 Convention. It is entirely face-to-face.

When you arrive at the Convention in April, the first thing you will want to do (unless you need to check into your room) will be to pick up your registration materials at the registration desk. This desk will be located in the Glessner Lobby. If you go through the main entrance of the resort, the Glessner Lobby is to your right, just past the gift shop.

Here, you will be given a packet with your nametag, PDH sheet, and a few other materials. You will also pick up a name tag holder and, if you want one, a lanyard. You will not need to check-in at the desk each day. We do require that you wear your name tag for the full duration of the Convention.

The Convention app will become available to attendees by the end of March.

During registration, all attendees are asked for their dietary restrictions and if they require any accessibility accommodations. If you require something specific, please reach out to let us know at wvsps@wvsps.org! If you list a dietary restriction during registration, that information will be listed on the back of your name tag.

While there is no formal dress code, many attendees are most comfortable in smart casual or business casual. For the Friday Awards Banquet, business formal or semi-formal is standard.

General Convention Questions

If you have been assigned to proctor a seminar, please arrive at the registration desk a few minutes prior to your seminar to pick up your proctor stamp.

Your most important duty as a proctor will be recording the PDHs earned for each attendee. Everyone will receive a one-page sheet with all the seminars for the convention listed along with their PDH credits.

As a proctor, you will also be asked to aid in the distribution of any seminar materials that the presenter has brought to the attendees of your session. If there is another issue such as with the AV or the room, it is up to you to let the WVSPS Admin Team at the registration desk know.

You will pick up an official WVSPS stamp at the registration desk with which to mark each attendee’s sheet when they have met the minimum contact time for the seminar (50 contact minutes per hour provided as stated in Title 23-2-2.1.3). We ask that you please pick up the proctor stamp approximately 15 minutes prior to your seminar. While we don’t expect you to keep a stopwatch on all the participants, we do ask that you try to be aware of excessive absence, late entrance to class, etc. If you feel that an attendee has not earned their full PDH credits, then please write in the adjusted PDH value they have earned (3.5 for example) and initial the space.

After the seminar, please encourage attendees to fill out the evaluation for the seminar that they will receive via email at the end of the day and return your WVSPS stamp to an admin member at the registration desk.

All of the handouts will be made available to you for free as PDFs and will be emailed to you two weeks before the convention. They will also be included in the convention app. They will also be available on the website. Your username and password will be required. Need to reset your password? You can request a password reset by clicking here

We strongly recommend that you download and/or print your handouts before arriving at the hotel, as the wifi can be unreliable.

To request a certificate of attendance, please email wvsps@wvsps.org after the Convention to request one.

All members of the WVSPS are able to join a number of the standing committees outlined in Section 13 of the WVSPS bylaws. A listing of those committees can be found here! To learn about how you can volunteer, please reach out to wvsps@wvsps.org.

No, the sessions will not be recorded.
