Erica Vogelzang obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology before pursuing a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Educational Sciences. For the last two years, she has been working as a policy maker in education at ACTA, taking part in several educational projects aimed at improving the curriculum. According to her, TBL can play an important role in increasing intrinsic motivation and learning outcomes for students by facilitating active learning within meaningful contexts. She is especially interested in implementing TBL in the earlier years of the Dentistry program.
