What does it take for a student to see themselves as a scientist? How can digital resources help close that gap? This plenary explores how LabXchange, a free online science education platform from Harvard University, can be embedded into STEMM bridge programs to support learners across critical transition points, from middle school through early college.

This presentation frames student transitions around four connected questions:

• Do you have the foundational knowledge to keep up?
• Do you understand how research works?
• Can you talk about it like a scientist?
• Do you know why this matters for you?

Drawing on LabXchange's open-access library of interactive content, video narratives from scientists with diverse and non-linear career paths, and hands-on simulations, presenters will demonstrate how each of these questions can be addressed using freely available assets to lower barriers for programs and institutions without the resources to build such content from scratch.

The session translates this framework into practical strategies to strengthen content knowledge, research literacy, scientific communication, and career identity development among incoming students. Attendees will leave with concrete examples of LabXchange resources mapped to each stage of the bridge experience, along with strategies for adapting them to diverse institutional contexts and learner populations.
