Kathryn (Kate) Gardner, PhD, is a science educator with a background in biochemistry and genetics. She is currently a lead content creator at Harvard University’s LabXchange in which she writes and reviews life sciences content. Kate has held faculty positions at Yale University and the University of Pittsburgh where she taught undergraduate courses in biological sciences. Kate holds a PhD in biochemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BS in chemistry from the University of Michigan. She completed her postdoctoral research in genetics at Yale University.
