Dr. Barron is the Director of the Creativity and Resilience Program and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin. She received her M.D. degree from Tulane Medical School. Dr. Barron did her residency at Tulane and a Certificate in Psychoanalysis at Columbia where she maintains a faculty appointment. She is the author of the book “The Creativity Cure: How to Build Happiness with Your Own Two Hands”.
