Dr. Cassie Kruczek received her PhD in Biomedical Sciences with a concentration in Medical Microbiology and Immunology from TTUHSC in 2013. She joined the Department of Surgery, TTUHSC as a post-doctoral research associate in the area of wound infections from 2013-14, then was an instructor of microbiology and epidemiology in the Honors College at TTU. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Education, School of Medicine, TTUHSC and a Co-Block Director for Multi-System Disorders, General Principles, and Organ Systems 1: Immunology, Hematology. Dr. Kruczek will lead the "patient simulations" portion of the workshop
