Dr. Burns brings serious groove to faculty development. He is a long-standing leader who helps educators find enduring success as teaching evolves in both physical classrooms and virtual spaces. He has worked with team-based learning for almost twenty years and champions it because it holds learners accountable, sustains academic rigor, and keeps the beat strong. As a TBLC Trainer Consultant he mentors colleagues across the full ensemble of disciplines including arts and sciences, business, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and veterinary medicine. He has also served as TBLC Treasurer and as Chair of the IAMSE Student Professional Development Committee, keeping the rhythm tight and the standards high.
