Bio
She isa family physician. Shefinished her master degree in Health Professional Education(MSED)in the University of Southern California, U.S., 1999.After returning to Korea, she helped the establishment of the department of Medical Education at the Korea University College of Medicine (KUCM) in 2000. She was appointed as an assistant professor in 2001 and promoted as a full professor in 2010. She serves for a director of faculty development, SP(standardized patient) program, the committee for the premedical curriculum, and a vice chair of the committee for continuous quality improvement in medical education at the KUCM. She is an Editor-in-Chief of the Korean Journal of Medical Education, an official journal of Korean Society of Medical Educators. Her major interesting research fields in medical education are; professionalism, communication skills education, and teaching clinicalreasoning skills in both UME and GME. Her recent paper on professionalism has been awarded as Annual Editor’s Choice of paper in Teaching and Learning Medicine. She was also awarded as a Best Medical Education Researcher Awards by the Society of Medical Educators in 2005 and 2009.
