Misty Bailey holds an MA degree, has a PhD in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, and has conducted research in student evaluations of teaching. She is the Curriculum and Assessment Coordinator at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine (UTCVM), where she administers SETs and counsels faculty on their use. Dr. Bailey coordinates the UTCVM Professional Skills, Wellness, and Ethics III course and co-presented a workshop on teaching at Makerere University in Uganda (2019). Since 2008, she has been involved in the steering committee for the UTCVM Master Teacher Program, a community of practice teaching academy, and in 2019 joined the steering committee for the Southeast Veterinary Education Consortium.
