Bio
Kathryn Kerdolff, MLIS, is an Associate Professor/Librarian at the LSU Health New Orleans John P. Isché Health Sciences Library who has spent her career teaching and conducting research in the health sciences. In 2009, she earned her Medical Education Research Certificate (MERC) from the Association of American Medical Colleges. In 2013, she became an inaugural member of the LSU Health New Orleans Teaching Academy as Master Teacher. She currently serves on the LSU Health New Orleans Curriculum Renewal Committee as the School of Medicine Library Liaison. Additionally, she is a member of the History Committee of the South Central Chapter of the Medical Library Association. She has focused recently on medical education and research, serving as a co-investigator on several extramural grants related to assessment in inter-professional, simulation-based team training. This work has resulted in her presenting at several national meetings, including IAMSE, and serving as co-author on numerous related publications.
