Bio
Dr. Alicia Bolden, PA-C currently serves as clinical coordinator and Assistant Professor for the Duke University Physician Assistant Program. She has over 16 years’ experience as a Physician Assistant (PA) and over 8 years as a PA educator. Dr. Bolden has worked clinically in the fields of internal medicine, hospital medicine, urgent care, and gastroenterology. She joined the Duke PA program in 2019. She currently serves as course lead for of the Duke PA Program’s PA Practice and the Health System courses, in which JEDI topics are taught as required elements of the curriculum. She earned a Master’s in Public Health in 2017 and a Doctor of Medical Sciences in 2019. Her professional interests include JEDI, racial equity, public health, and reading. Dr. Bolden has lectured nationally and co-authored publications on JEDI topics.
