This workshop is designed for both basic science and clinical health professions educators who have an interest in developing curricula and methodology to integrate basic with clinical medicine. While the workshop will focus primarily on integration of basic science into clinical medical education, the approaches discussed and the hands on work during the session is applicable to a variety of health professions education programs and also to pre-clinical, basic science education. All participants should be comfortable working collaboratively in teams that combine basic scientists and clinicians. Individuals who are interested to 1) explore a nationally vetted science curriculum and 2) practice pedagogical approaches to integrate basic science and clinical medicine, should consider participation.
