The purpose of this workshop is to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to develop and draft 12 and 24-month personal leadership development plans. Participants will be able to: A. Describe 4 competency areas for successful leadership in complex, changing academic environments B. Define the differences between a coach, mentor, and sponsor C. Name current and potential peers, coaches, mentors and sponsors who can support their career advancement along their leadership pathways D. Design a 12- and 24-month career advancement action plan using the Leadership Competencies
