In this plenary address, Dr. Peter Anderson will briefly review the history of GRIPE emphasizing the vacuum in faculty development opportunities during the early days and the key role for GRIPE in providing support to pathology educators. Then, he will outline the role for pathology educators and their importance in new integrated medical curricula. Lastly, he will delineate ways to keep pathology education in the forefront of medical education.
