Dr. Linda Sekhon is the current President of the PA Education Association.
She has been a PA educator since 1996 and is the founding chair of the High Point University’s Department of Medical Sciences and program director for the Doctor of Medical Science program. She serves on the Editorial Board for the North Carolina Medical Journal (NCMJ). She has presented and published numerous articles on clinical and professional topics with a focus on Rheumatology and was honored by the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) in 2012 with a Paragon Publishing Award for her article on Rheumatoid Arthritis. She is an AAPA Distinguished Fellow and has received several state and national awards for professional leadership for her service to education and the PA profession.
