Rupa Lalchandani Tuan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology at UCSF and serves as a teaching faculty in the schools of medicine, pharmacy and dentistry. She has a PhD in Physiology and Pharmacology and holds a strong passion for teaching and education. After completing a postdoctoral appointment, she transitioned into full time teaching first as an Assistant Professor at Notre Dame de Namur University and now at UCSF as a pharmacology educator, where she teaches and directs courses in the professional schools.
