Bio
Gia DiGiacobbe is the Director of Curriculum Design and Implementation at the Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine (KPSOM). In this role, she leads a team of instructional designers, educational technologists, multimedia designers, and curriculum coordinators to partner with faculty in the design and delivery of an effective and engaging curriculum. Prior to joining KPSOM, Ms. DiGiacobbe managed the redesign of core components of the pre-clinical curriculum at Wake Forest School of Medicine. While there, she was the lead instructional designer on two grants which focused on interprofessional education (IPE) and social determinants of health in clinical clerkships. Previously, Ms. DiGiacobbe participated in the creation of a new Physician Assistant Program at Northwestern University. As the only staff member for over three years, she served in a wide range of capacities including accreditation, admissions, student affairs, registration and records, curriculum development, marketing, and space management. Ms. DiGiacobbe earned a Master of Business Administration at California State University - Los Angeles and Bachelor of Science in Education from Northwestern University and completed her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2016.
