                                                    Dr. Jamie Fairclough joined the Roseman College of Medicine in July 2020. Her primary responsibilities at Roseman are to oversee assessment and evaluation efforts within the college and provide strategic leadership over the Data Science & Analytics (DSA) Unit. She brings over a decade of experience in health professions education leadership, assessment and evaluation planning, program accreditation, and continuing education administration.
As a data scientist with formal training in data engineering, Dr. Fairclough works closely with information technology (IT) leaders to design, implement, and manage robust data infrastructure systems that support unit-level data strategies. She also conducts comprehensive analytic capabilities needs assessments and advises senior leadership on the adoption of cost-effective analytic solutions and cloud computing platforms that meet the broader needs of the medical school. With expertise in advanced analytics and evaluation procedures, Dr. Fairclough has worked as a government operations consultant overseeing a statewide epidemiologic surveillance system and has served as a chief evaluator on a multimillion-dollar science and engineering grant awarded by the United States Department of Education (USDE). She also has over 15 years of experience teaching in public and private universities and has served as course director for secondary, undergraduate, graduate, and professional courses that fall within her areas of expertise.
