Bio
Curtis Donaldson is a rural Texan by birth! After a successful career in the oil and gas industry, he began a second career as an entrepreneur and economic development officer in rural central Texas. In 2022, Curtis joined Texas A&M as Director of Rural Medicine and Director of Community Engagement. He currently leads and oversees the university’s statewide network of rural communities engaged in health education expansion. Through his leadership, the College of Medicine has expanded its rural outreach and community partnerships to over thirty counties across the state, with the goal of surpassing fifty official county partnerships by 2027. Curtis’ connections to rural business leaders, government officials, and community education partners run deep. Today, medical, nursing, and veterinary students are training in and positively impacting hundreds of communities across the great state of Texas.
