Dr. Khandhar serves as Junior faculty who is co-course director for foundational sciences in the pre-clerkship curriculum at the UC Riverside School of Medicine. In addition to course directing and teaching in the pre-clerkship curriculum, she practices clinically as a general pediatrician. Dr. Kandar has contributed to the piloting and refinement of curricular initiatives to employ AI to assist in MCQ item writing. Her perspective and experience as a Junior faculty in item-writing, and in using AI to assist in item writing will be of interest to attendees.
