Joseph “Joey” Wilcox is an Assistant Professor of Medical Education at Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine. Dr. Wilcox has extensive experience in the educational setting from public secondary through the medical settings and received his terminal degree in the arena of Bioinformatics and Genomics with a high emphasis in the educational applications of these sciences. Using that in silico research background, he has explored the potential which AI has not only for the research realm, but for educational purposes with an interest in combining them. He has created seminars, short courses, short- and full-term coursework presented at the local and national levels and will bring that passion and experience to full bear on this project.
