Dr. Wong Lik Wei is an early-career educator in the Department of Physiology at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS. He spent a substantial number of years working as a postdoctoral fellow before transitioning to an educator role. He is involved in education for both undergraduate and graduate levels in medicine and allied health professions. With a background in neuroscience, he is interested in applying the science of learning to classroom teaching and student learning. Having experienced the transition from scientist to educator amid the evolving landscape of contemporary medical and allied health professions education, he shares insights and challenges from this journey. He offers guidance on navigating generational shifts in education and exploring new opportunities in the field.
