Aurora mScope Education is a content management platform for educators to build microscopy-centric courses, allowing students to use their portable computing devices to examine slides as though they were using a microscope. It also allows educators to annotate slides, measure features and distances between features, and to create formative and summative tests using multiple choice (with slides) and annotation-type questions. It also allows students to benefit from 24/7 access to slides, the instructors' annotations, and course material, and to follow-along with the instructor in real-time using our virtual multi-headed microscope. Our platform is being used by esteemed medical education institutions such as the Michener Institute at UHN, Johns Hopkins University, and the University of Nebraska.
