Carrie Elzie, PhD, MA is a Professor of Cell Systems and Anatomy at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She currently serves as the Vice Chair of Educational Scholarship and Faculty Awards and is the Program Director of a Pre-professional graduate certificate. She teaches anatomy, histology, embryology and pathology. Her research interests include humanism in anatomy, gamification and artificial intelligence.
